Testing
Use our Sandbox to test your payment integration in a virtual test environment using virtual test cards.
Use our UAT (user-acceptance-testing) environment to complete your payments integration testing, using real test cards, that are processed by the acquiring bank and 3DSecure.
PLEASE NOTE: UAT testing must be completed and signed off by the Integration team, before you can migrate your solution to production. Your production merchant api-key is not enabled until testing is complete.
Sandbox Environment
Our Sandbox Environment
The VodaPay Gateway Sandbox is an exact copy of our production environment, where you can verify your test scenarios with virtual test cards. Any transactions made in sandbox are isolated from our production environment, providing a realistic integration, before going live. You will be able to test once-off payments, recurring payments, digital wallet transactions and refunds for all payment methods.
USAGE: To access the sandbox, add an additional header value of test and set it to TRUE

User-Acceptance-Testing Environment (UAT)

Any transactions made in UAT are isolated from our production environment, providing a realistic integration, before going live. Test Cards for UAT Environment
When testing in the UAT environment (i.e. with the header test flag set to 'false'), you will need valid bank test cards that are processed by the acquiring bank (in their test environment), and also complete the 3D-Secure verification. These test cards do not incur any charges, however, they do have daily authorisation limits, so keep your payment amounts low, to avoid 'Do not Honour' errors. These test cards are not the virtual test cards that you can use in Sandbox for the various testing scenarios.
